Cartaginian general wait in the front in arc form waiting by Magon Barca for the romans. in the middle of the battle the Roman are aboarding for the reserves and the back, Elephants and cavalry under general  Baharval close the formation. 70,000 romans are traped, troops in the middle are unable to fight and the sides are atacked for the african/celtic forces. 
Cannae finish with the killing of 80 senators and Varon himself, the Scipion family died too.  Quintus flavius retake the dictatorial command but unable for launch a war against Hannibal, after the cartaginians sige rome and force for a peace pact.    Spain was divided and south Sicilie belongs to Carthage.
